Crain’s Names Co-founder Borg-Breen a 2019 ‘Notable Gen X Leader in Law’

Award notes her significant impact in the intellectual property field

Crain’s Chicago Business has named Green, Griffith & Borg-Breen LLP co-founder Caryn Borg-Breen to the publication’s “2019 Notable Gen X Leaders in Law” list in Chicago.

The list recognizes leading Chicago attorneys who have made a significant impact within the legal community.

Crain’s cited Caryn’s experience serving as lead counsel for Horizon Pharma on litigation related to its Duexis and Pennsaid products and her representation of Clarus Therapeutics on its drug Jatenzo as examples of her skill and leadership in the intellectual property legal arena.

In 2015, along with fellow co-founders Bob Green and Chris Griffith, Caryn helped found Green Griffith, which specializes in pharmaceutical and life sciences IP matters, specializing in patent litigation.

“Caryn’s technical expertise, combined with her strategic approach to addressing issues and superior litigation skills make her a leader in our field. Her ability to partner and communicate with clients throughout the patent litigation process is exceptional,” said co-founding partner Griffith. “We are very proud that Crain’s has recognized her abilities.”
