Green Griffith Announces Newest Partner, Jessica Tyrus Mackay


Jessica was previously a Member of Green Griffith since the firm’s founding in 2015.


Green Griffith is pleased to announce the promotion of Jessica Tyrus Mackay to the position of Partner. Jessica is a talented, seasoned attorney with exceptional legal expertise. She brings a passion for excellence and the highest professional and ethical standards to the practice of intellectual property law. We are proud to have Jessica on the Green Griffith team.

Jessica specializes in patent litigation and counseling, with specific experience representing plaintiffs and defendants in all facets of patent litigation and consultation arising under the Hatch-Waxman Act, from initial opinions through trial and appeal. Jessica has served as trial counsel in patent infringement litigation arising in the U.S. federal district courts and as appellate counsel before the Federal Circuit. She also has experience in advising clients on freedom-to-operate, due diligence, trademark, and trade dress issues, and she has represented patentees before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board in Inter Partes Review proceedings.

Prior to joining Green Griffith, Jessica was an Associate at Leydig, Voit & Mayer, Ltd. She also served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Martin C. Ashman, United States Magistrate Judge for the Northern District of Illinois, and worked as an undergraduate laboratory intern at Argonne National Laboratory.
