Rachel C. Bell
Rachel specializes in intellectual property law, concentrating in patent litigation related to pharmaceutical, chemical and biochemical products. Rachel has worked with a variety of clients including generic drug companies involved in ANDA Hatch-Waxman litigation in the District Courts of New Jersey and Delaware, an automotive manufacturer facing inter partes review before the USPTO, a heavy machinery manufacturer defending a jury trial finding of noninfringement before the Federal Circuit, and various other clients involved in state and federal courts. Rachel has assisted with all stages of litigation including the drafting of dispositive motions and appeal briefs, the majority of which resulted in successful outcomes for clients. Rachel also has experience in patent prosecution in the mechanical and chemical fields.
Rachel received her B.S. in Chemistry in 2010 from the University of Maryland, College Park. She received her J.D. in 2013 from The University of Chicago Law School. During law school, Rachel participated in the Gendered Violence and the Law Clinic and interned with the U.S. Navy JAG Corps. Prior to joining Green Griffith, Rachel worked as a patent litigation associate at a large international law firm where she was involved in both trial and appellate work.
